Unlimited Pickup
The Richfield Township Trustees have scheduled an unlimited rubbish collection for all Richfield Township residents on SATURDAY, MAY 21st, 2016
Acceptable rubbish for the “Spring Clean Up” will include furniture, mattresses and box springs, white goods (freon removed and properly tagged), scrap metal, trash in containers (limit 50 lbs.), rubbish, carpeting, and wood tied or bundled in less than 4’ lengths or other rubbish that can easily be handled by two persons. There is a limit of two appliances.
The following items will not be accepted for disposal: tires, hazardous waste (oils, fuels, paints, thinners, pesticides, fertilizers, etc.), liquid wastes and animal wastes, batteries, car parts, appliances with freon, composting material, concrete, brick and stone.
Rubbish should be set at the curb in an orderly fashion the night before and should be placed not more than 5 feet from the pavement edge.
Regular trash collection has been scheduled for June through September on the first and third Monday of each month and from October through April on the first Monday of each month. Three thirty gallon bags are allowed.
